LOS ANGELES (Aug. 20th, 2018) -- The Los Angeles Gladiators have made their first roster change of the off season by transferring Chan-hyung “Fissure” Baek to the Seoul Dynasty. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. As main tank, Fissure helped lead the team to many victories, improving from an 8th place finish in Stage 1 to 1st place in Stage 4.
“He brought a lot to the team and we are thankful for what he has accomplished here. We have acquiesced to his wishes to be part of a fully Korean roster, which he can find with the Dynasty,” says Charlie Lipsie, Director of Esports.
“I’m excited to be a part of Seoul Dynasty and can’t wait to get started. Our goal is to win and give our fans memorable moments in the season ahead,” says Fissure.
The Gladiators ended Season 1 strong, finishing 4th overall in the inaugural season of the Overwatch League. Follow them on Twitter @LAGladiators to keep up with off-season announcements.
