LOS ANGELES (April 2nd, 2018) -- As Stage 2 ends, the Gladiators welcome a new addition to the team with the signing of Jun-woo “Void” Kang. Previously the flex tank for KongDoo Panthera in the Overwatch APEX circuit of South Korea, Void is known for his Zarya and D.Va play.

He will join the growing Gladiators frontline of tanks with Aaron “Bischu” Kim, Luis “iRemiix” Figueroa, and Chan-hyung “Fissure” Baek. Fissure played with him on KongDoo Panthera, where they took 2nd place in Overwatch APEX Season 3 and 3rd in APEX Season 4.

“We’re excited to welcome Void to the team. His past synergy with Fissure will be a welcome addition to the team and makes for a seamless transition into his tenure as a Gladiator,” says head coach David “dpei” Pei.

The Gladiators have come to form in Stage 2, outperforming expectations and contending for Stage 2 playoffs against the strongest teams in the league. They are excited to debut Void at the start of Stage 4 or earlier, pending visa approval.
