LOS ANGELES (April 3rd, 2018) -- As Stage 3 begins, the Gladiators make another roster move with the signing of Ted “silkthread” Wang. Previously a player for the Los Angeles Valiant, silkthread will be the latest addition to the Gladiators’ rotating DPS lineup, joining João Pedro “Hydration” Goes Telles, Lane “Surefour” Roberts, and Jun-sung “Asher” Choi.

“It’s great to be able to once again play alongside silkthread, one of my favorite teammates from 2017. I can’t wait to see how well we do together in Stage 3,” says Hydration, who was formerly on CLG with silkthread.

“We’ve done a pretty good job of using multiple players at a given position effectively. Silkthread will add more flexibility to the DPS lineup we’ve utilized in the past two stages. We’re excited to have him join the team,” says head coach David “dpei” Pei.

The Gladiators have come to form in Stage 2, outperforming expectations and contending for Stage 2 playoffs against the strongest teams in the league. Silkthread will be eligible to play for the Gladiators in Stage 3. The Gladiators take on the San Francisco Shock on Wednesday, April 4th.
