CHANGING THE GUARD - GLADIATORS LEGION UPDATES
LOS ANGELES (June 5th, 2019) -- The Gladiators Legion have made roster updates in preparation for Season 2 of the 2019 North American Overwatch Contenders League.
Aaron “Bischu” Kim, who temporarily filled in as the off tank for the Legion, has returned to the main roster of the Los Angeles Gladiators in the Overwatch League.
Replacing him as off tank is Emil “eMIL” Sandgren, who recently took first with Angry Titans in Season 1 of the 2019 European Overwatch Contenders League. The team also finished third in the Atlantic Showdown, a double elimination tournament with the top teams of all Contenders leagues worldwide.
Previously a player for NRG Esports and recently a stand-1n for Team Envy, Ji-won “Stand1” Seo will join the main tank line. Known primarily for his Reinhardt and Winston play, he helped Team Envy take second in the Atlantic Showdown.
The players will join the existing roster of main tank Byong Ho “Panker” Lee and substitute Félix “xQc”Lengyel, DPS Min-sung "Water" Lee and Dalton “Dalton” Bennyhoff, and supports Ludvig "Luddee" Håkansson and Randal “Roolf” Stark. The team continues under the leadership of Thomas "Maid" Mok as head coach and Gannon "RaptorZ" Nelson as head development coach.
