LOS ANGELES (Nov 14th, 2018) -- The Gladiators Legion have made new acquisitions and have locked in the roster for Season 3 of the North American Overwatch Contenders League.

DPS players Jeffrey “blasé” Tsang and Corey “Corey” Nigra have left the Gladiators Legion. Blasé will be joining the Boston Uprising as part of the Overwatch League.

Dalton "Dalton" Bennyhoff and Connor "Far" Broderick join the Legion as the new DPS players. Previously part of Toronto Esports, Dalton brings experience from competing in the past two seasons of Overwatch Contenders. Far served as the former flex DPS for Skyfoxes, a team that finished 2nd in the Overwatch Contenders Season 3 Trials.

Dalton and Far will join the existing roster of main tank Byong Ho “Panker” Lee, flex tank Daniel “gods” Graeser, and supports Mark “pookz” Rendon and Randal “Roolf” Stark. Led by head coach Gannon “RaptorZ” Nelson, the Gladiators Legion finished 2nd in their group during Overwatch Contenders Season 2.

The Legion have also added Simon “simon” Schumph as the assistant coach. Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, simon got his start coaching Overwatch in the South American Contenders scene, working with Nocturns Gaming and Isurus Gaming. In October he joined GOATS and moved to the NA Overwatch Contenders Trials.
